The backbone of greater Bloomington’s economy is its diversity. As the voice of business, the Greater Bloomington Chamber of Commerce is here to help.

Whether you have a business in Bloomington or are thinking about starting one - or perhaps looking for new career, this section will provide you with the resources and information you need.

Use the links to the right to find the resources you need:

Business Exchange – Looking for a specific service? Want to help you find a vendor to help with an upcoming project? Whether you’re looking for a business or looking for more business...the Business Exchange works for you!

Post the type of product or service you’re looking for on the Business Exchange! Our members will contact you to discuss in more detail or to submit a bid.

...And Businesses! Check the Business Exchange often for newly posted business opportunities.

Job Board – Post your open position or internship...This is a free benefit for Chamber members!

Major employers – It’s always good to know the “who’s who” of a community and these lists will supply that information.

Links – The Chamber is proud to partner with other business organizations to help build better business and better community. This page is a great resource for those business and community partners you need to access as a part of doing business in Monroe County.

Another great community resource for our businesses and residents of our region is the Advanced Manufacturing Program offerd by Ivy Tech - Bloomington.

Based on the Manufacturing Skill Standards Council, Certified Production Technician certification, students will be trained in the areas of manufacturing process, maintenance, safety, and quality practices. This training is nationally recognized and portable.

The goal of AMP - Advanced Manufacturing Program - is to elevate the skills of our regional workforce. Fifty-five percent of Indiana's manufacturing jobs require mid-level skills. Mid-level skills are those that require a 2-year degree or an industry recognized certification. Unfortunately, only 49% of Indiana workforce possesses the skills to fill this type of job.

AMP would not be possible without the partnership between the Lawrence County Economic Growth Council, the Bloomington Economic Development Corporation, the Greater Bloomington Chamber of Commerce, the Bedford Area Chamber of Commerce, City of Bedford, City of Bloomington, Duke Energy, and the Southern Indiana Development Commission.
