The Greater Bloomington Chamber of Commerce's Success School will be hosting a High School Career Exploration, Intern, and Employment Fair at Bloomington High School North (BHSN) and Bloomington High School South (BHSS). We are seeking 20-25 local organizations from all sectors that offer opportunities for current high school students to participate in this event. At the Fair, you'll be able to interact with high school students about the career opportunities open to them now or in the future.

Each employer will receive one 6' table, which can be decorated as you wish. The schools have allowed 30 minutes of setup time. Please bring any additional literature, displays, promotional materials, etc., to help convey the opportunities within your organization. You may participate in one or both events.

    BHSN – Monday 9/22, 10am -1:15pm (students visit fair from 10:37am – 1pm)
    BHSS - Thursday 9/25, 9:00am – 12:45pm (students visit fair from 9:30am – 12:30pm)

Background checks are required for all participants and need to be submitted by 9/15 to be eligible for participation per MCCSC policy. Instructions also contained in the confirmation email after registration. This document and the information contained in it will be treated with great care to ensure the privacy of all volunteers. Please fill out the free Background Check form, take a photo/copy of your driver's license and send both to [email protected]. The school reserves the right to discuss the information with you and either allow or deny entry based upon the results.

Please note: BHSN & BHSS require your driver’s license to be scanned upon entering the school to track visitors.

The price of this event is free to Chamber members and $20/school for non-members.

As a part of the Chamber's Foundation, The Success School acts as the connection between the business and the education communities. We serve students by introducing them to many different potential career options, providing them with opportunities to interact with professionals in different fields and helping them understand that graduating from high school is crucial for future success. We also serve the business community by offering meaningful volunteer opportunities for business professionals in our career learning programs which provide workforce development services for youth.
