Under its Grounded in Truth banner, the distillery will be supporting agriculturally focused not-for-profit organizations, including Farm Aid, that provide valuable resources for and support for family farmers.

About us
Hard Truth Distilling Co. is currently the largest sweet mash distillery in the state of Indiana, with a state-of-the-art facility housed on 325 wooded acres in the artists' colony of Brown County. Founded in 2015, Hard Truth joined the BWQOHT, Inc. family of brands, following Quaff ON! Brewing Co. (2012), and Big Woods Restaurant Group (2009). Hard Truth's campus includes not only the distillery and its rackhouse, but also a tours and tastings center, a full-service restaurant, an expansive outdoor terrace area with a stage, bar, and food truck, and more. Hard Truth is among the handful of distilleries in the U.S. practicing the art of sweet mash — a distilling method that begins each batch of whiskey with entirely new ingredients, as opposed to sour mash's incorporation of spent grain from previous batches into new. Current distribution includes 20+ states, with more regularly coming online. It's International Women's Day, and this year, the theme is #InspireInclusion, something we strive to do in every aspect of our brand. Hard Truth is fortunate to have passionate, capable women working in all of our spaces — on the production floor bottling and distilling, out in the field in sales and customer experience, behind the scenes in our corporate offices, and in our tourist and bar operations. We wouldn't be the same without them.

Before we distilled our first batch of whiskey, fans of Hard Truth had already put their faith in our success. Those who pre-purchased Sweet Mash Bourbon in 2017 became the first members of the Sweet Mash Pioneer Society, which has grown to more than 300 members through the years. This month, the Sweet Mash Bourbon they began purchasing more than five years ago was finally released. Those Pioneers joined us for a private event to celebrate this amazing moment in Hard Truth history. We thank you!
